Happy New Year!

Point House is moving towards helping more of our clients with supported living, rather than just residential care – whilst we have always strived to assist all clients with being as independent as possible now we have the ability to take this further, helping clients re build their lost life skills including financial management, all domestic skills, personal care and cookery/shopping.

These skills are taught in small groups or on a one to one basis and begin simply, they then gradually build up so that a client reaches their full potential or independence in this area is achieved. Each life skill is tailor made to each individual client enabling everyone to progress at their own pace. Progress is recorded so that we can clearly see how far a client has come at each stage.

This will mean that for some of our clients there will be an opportunity to use Point House to enable them to achieve far more independence in their daily lives whilst still living in a secure, safe environment and for others that may mean being able to move out into independent living in the community!

Whether clients come to live at Point House short – long term – or just for respite stay, we can accommodate all, clients just don’t live here they take part in all aspects of daily living, go out on a daily basis to trips all over east Anglia travelling in our 6 seater people carrier or train even by bus, as all our clients have their own bus pass.

All our care plans are tailor made to each individual client with support plans and contingency plans in place.

New service users can come to visit, have a look around, stay for tea or a weekend break.

Our fees are just from £89.80 per day that’s £3.74 per hour (in 24 hours)
