Point House provides care and services for adults with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.

Point House was opened in 1980 initially to three adults with learning difficulties. In 1985 the property was extended to include rooms to accommodate 19 more adults.

We always strive to provide the highest possible level of care for our service-users, who range from 18 to 60 years in age. To maintain our high level of care, we have a comprehensive list of aims and objectives which we pride ourselves in adhering to.

Point House has a total of 22 beds. According to registration we are able to accommodate 22 service-users at any one time.

Each service-user upon arrival has a professional assessment of their degree of disability, difficulties or behaviour, and is then assigned the most suitable key worker or advocate.

We welcome service users from outside agencies to join Point House day services.

Our aim is to promote independence as much as possible - this also helps us move some of our service users into their own flat or supported living accommodation.

Single rooms are £502.00 per week (accommodation. meals and laundry only). Personal care and day-services are extra.

Short term/temporary or respite stays from £72.00 per day.
